Primary School Teacher (Full‑Time) – ASAP Start – Southall

Working Hours: 08:30 am – 04:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

About the Role

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for planning, delivering, and assessing lessons for a class with a high level of additional needs. You will be supported by a strong staffing structure, with one teacher and three Teaching Assistants in each class. This role requires a committed professional who is confident working with children with high need, ASD, and is passionate about inclusive education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress.
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and support staff.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment.
  • Attend weekly CPD sessions (Tuesdays after school).

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience within EYFS.
  • Proven experience working with children with high levels of need.
  • Experience in one or more of the following settings:
  • Special provisions
  • Special schools
  • Mainstream settings supporting children with additional needs
  • Strong understanding of:
    • ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)
    • Non‑verbal communication strategies
    • Sensory needs
    • PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System)
  • Must hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
