Key Responsibilities
- Support the pupil throughout the school day on a 1:1 basis and within small groups.
- Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.
- Deliver targeted interventions under teacher guidance.
- Encourage independence, communication, and social development.
- Work alongside the class teacher, SENCO, therapists, and parents.
- Monitor and record progress towards EHCP outcomes.
- The Successful Candidate Will Have
- The Successful Candidate Will Have Experience supporting children with additional learning needs, ideally Global Developmental Delay.
- A nurturing, patient, and flexible approach.
- Understanding of child development and differentiated learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with speech and language programmes or sensory strategies is desirable.
