Location: SW19, Wimbledon

Hours: 8:15am – 3:15pm | Term Time Only

We are working with an all boys secondary school in SW19 who are seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to support students working towards their GCSEs. This role is well suited to someone with a strong academic background and previous SEND experience, who is confident supporting secondary-aged boys both academically and pastorally.

The Role:

  • Supporting students across KS3 and KS4, with a focus on GCSE subjects
  • Working with pupils with a range of SEND needs, including SEMH, ASD and learning difficulties
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support in the classroom
  • Supporting behaviour management and engagement in lessons
  • Working closely with teaching staff to support pupil progress

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has previous experience supporting students with SEND in a secondary school setting
  • Has a strong academic background (degree or equivalent desirable)
  • Is confident, calm and consistent when working with teenage boys
  • Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Is reliable, proactive and committed
