Hours: 8:15am – 3:15pm | Term Time Only
We are working with an all boys secondary school in SW19 who are seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to support students working towards their GCSEs. This role is well suited to someone with a strong academic background and previous SEND experience, who is confident supporting secondary-aged boys both academically and pastorally.
The Role:
- Supporting students across KS3 and KS4, with a focus on GCSE subjects
- Working with pupils with a range of SEND needs, including SEMH, ASD and learning difficulties
- Providing 1:1 and small group support in the classroom
- Supporting behaviour management and engagement in lessons
- Working closely with teaching staff to support pupil progress
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has previous experience supporting students with SEND in a secondary school setting
- Has a strong academic background (degree or equivalent desirable)
- Is confident, calm and consistent when working with teenage boys
- Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Is reliable, proactive and committed
