We are currently recruiting for multiple BSL Communication Support Workers to join a welcoming and supportive all-through SEND school in the UB3 area. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference by supporting deaf and hearing‑impaired students to access learning and fully participate in school life.
Role Details
- Full‑time position Monday to Friday.
- Working hours: 8:30am – 4:15pm.
- Start September 2026.
- Pay £96–£100 per day (dependent on experience).
Responsibilities
- Provide communication support for deaf or hearing‑impaired students.
- Support students to access learning and fully participate in school life.
Requirements
- Experience supporting children or young people, ideally within an educational or SEND setting.
- A recognised BSL qualification (Level 2 or above preferred) and the ability to communicate confidently using British Sign Language.
- A positive, patient, and proactive approach.
- A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs and promoting inclusive learning.
