Are you committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? An inclusive and supportive SEN school in the L32 area is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work with pupils across both primary and secondary settings. You’ll be supporting students with a diverse range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). About the Role

  • Location: L32 (easily accessible via public transport)
  • Contract: Full-time and part-time positions available

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to help pupils develop confidence, independence, and key skills
  • Assist in delivering tailored lessons across core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science, as well as creative and life-skills activities
  • Help create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
  • Foster strong, trusting relationships with students, encouraging their personal and academic growth
  • Observe and track progress, celebrating milestones and identifying areas for development
