We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to provide one‑on‑one support for a Year 3 student in a mainstream school setting in Wandsworth, London. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment and helping the child overcome academic and social challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Year 3 student with personalized learning plans tailored to their individual needs.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to enhance the student’s learning, engagement, and social integration.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to track the student’s progress and identify areas for further support.
  • Encourage the student’s independence and self‑confidence through effective teaching methods and positive reinforcement.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment, adhering to school policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in an educational setting, particularly with children who have additional learning needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive and patient attitude, with a passion for supporting children’s education and development.
