Learning Support Assistants – September Start | Specialist SEN Setting | Stockport Location: Stockport (Two specialist settings) Start Date: September 2025 Pay: £85–£100 per day (depending on experience and qualifications) Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (term-time only) Do you have that special something to support and inspire young people with complex learning needs? We are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistants to join two specialist campuses in the Stockport area from September 2025. These unique provisions cater for children and young people with Severe to Profound Learning Difficulties (SLD/PLD). Many students also have additional and complex needs such as: – Sensory impairments – Complex medical requirements – Social interaction difficulties – Non-verbal communication needs What the Role Involves: – Supporting students aged 3–19 in a 1:1 or small group capacity – Assisting with personal care, feeding and medical routines (where required) – Promoting emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour – Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists and other LSAs – Adapting learning materials and strategies for individual needs – Rotating between two well-resourced campuses in Stockport, offering variety and wider experience If you’re ready to take the next step in your support career—or if you\’re new to SEN and want to explore this fulfilling path—we want to hear from you.
