About the School
Situated on the same grounds as a care home, the school works in close collaboration with care staff to deliver a fully integrated, wrap‑around approach to each pupil’s education, wellbeing and development. This joined‑up approach ensures consistency, structure and emotional security for every young person.
The Pupils
All students have EHCPs and present with a range of needs, including:
- SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health)
- Trauma and attachment needs (primary focus)
- Mild ASD
The Role
- Supporting the delivery of tailored, engaging lessons
- Leading small group and 1:1 interventions
- Working closely with teaching and care staff
- Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
- Creating a calm, structured and nurturing environment
The Ideal Candidate
- HLTA qualification or strong experience in a similar role
- Experience supporting SEMH and trauma‑informed practice
- Confident working with EHCPs
