Learning Support Assistant – College | Hounslow | September 2026 Start

We are recruiting for a long-term Learning Support Assistant position at a welcoming and inclusive college in Hounslow, starting in September 2026. You will join a dedicated and supportive SEND department, helping post-16 students achieve their educational and personal goals.
Position Details

- Long-term opportunity for the full academic year
- 4 or 5 days per week (based on your availability)
- £14.25 per hour (PAYE – starting rate)
The Role
You will support post-16 learners with a range of additional needs, including:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Anxiety
- Behavioural needs
- Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD)
Support responsibilities will be matched to your skills, experience, and strengths.
Requirements
- Previous experience supporting post-16 students
- Experience working within a college or secondary school setting
- Confidence supporting students with a range of complex SEND needs
- A positive, patient, and proactive approach
