Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can genuinely make a difference to children with additional needs? We are seeking a warm, patient and caring full‑time Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist SEND school near Highbridge. You will support primary and secondary aged pupils with SEMH needs, autism and learning disabilities in their specialist provision. This is a full‑time role, starting February, with a permanent position available after an initial 16‑week settling‑in period. You will work 8:30 am–3:30 pm, five days a week, and be paid £13.70 per hour.

What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting pupils with SEMH needs, autism and learning disabilities in specialist lessons and activities.
- Helping pupils access the curriculum and engage positively in learning.
- Assisting with personal care and emotional support where needed.
- Working closely with teachers and specialist staff to follow individual plans.
- Building trust and rapport with young people who benefit from consistency and reassurance.
We’re searching for someone who:

- Can work well in a team and adapt to the needs of individuals.
- Has experience with young people (e.g., graduates, youth workers, sports coaches, support workers or previous TAs) — although your values and personality matter most.
