Role
Axcis Education is recruiting an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant for a full‑time position at a specialist school near Solihull.
The role begins in September and runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm.
You will support pupils aged 4–11 years with a range of complex Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them access learning and achieve their individual goals.
The daily rate is £92.63.
Responsibilities
- Support pupils with a variety of SEND requirements.
- Deliver tailored assistance to meet individual learning and development needs.
- Encourage engagement, confidence and independence within the classroom.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils.
- Promote a calm, supportive and structured learning environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children, ideally within an educational or SEND setting.
- Effective behaviour management skills.
- Patient, caring and empathetic approach.
- Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
- Enhanced DBS registration on the Update Service.
