Location: Hampton Middlesex, TW12
Position: SEND Teaching Assistant – Temp to Term role, term time only.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm.
Start date: 1st September 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism
- Assist with classroom activities and help pupils engage in their education
- Work collaboratively with the wider support team at the school
- Provide tailored 1:1 and group support to help pupils reach their full potential
- Support pupils with improving communication, social skills and independence
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience working with children with SEND, particularly pupils with moderate learning difficulties and autism
- Can build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
- Calm, patient and resilient, with excellent behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Confidence supporting pupils with a range of learning and communication needs
