Responsibilities
- Assist teaching staff in delivering high-quality, tailored educational support to students with SEMH needs.
- Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and provide targeted interventions to promote learning and emotional well-being.
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their engagement and participation in classroom activities.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to the development of strategies for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support students' holistic development.
- Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children with SEMH needs is essential.
- A strong understanding of SEMH challenges and appropriate support strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Relevant qualifications in education or child development are advantageous.
