Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic Teacher to join our vibrant community school in Guildford.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across the curriculum, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum and school policies.
- Assess, record and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted interventions.
- Manage classroom behaviour, ensuring a safe, respectful, and motivating atmosphere.
- Contribute to whole‑school initiatives, including staff meetings, professional development, and extracurricular activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents and external partners to support each pupil’s holistic development.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching in a secondary or primary setting (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills and a commitment to continuous professional development.
