Are you a recent graduate looking to take your first steps into education? Whether you’ve studied psychology, education, child development, or simply have a strong interest in supporting children, this opportunity could be the ideal starting point for a meaningful and rewarding career. A vibrant and inclusive primary school based in central Manchester is currently recruiting graduate Teaching Assistants to join its dedicated support team. These roles are perfect for individuals who are passionate about helping children thrive — particularly those who may need extra guidance or encouragement in the classroom. You do not need previous school experience. What’s more important is your enthusiasm, empathy and willingness to learn. Full training is provided, including access to a wide range of CPD-certified courses such as safeguarding, SEND awareness, and behaviour management. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone with a genuine curiosity about special educational needs or child-centred development. In this role, you’ll work closely with class teachers to assist pupils with their learning, both one-to-one and in small group settings. You may support children who face challenges related to attention, communication or emotional regulation — including pupils with autism, ADHD or speech and language needs. You’ll help create a calm and supportive classroom environment where all children feel safe, included and confident in their abilities. This is a full-time position during term time and offers invaluable experience for graduates considering careers in teaching, educational psychology, therapy or SEN support.
