A welcoming and supportive special needs school in Herne Hill is seeking a full-time Food Technology Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with admin duties related to Food Technology lessons
- Place online food orders and ensure timely delivery to relevant classes
- Prepare ingredients, resources, and cooking equipment before lessons
- Support in cleaning and resetting the cooking space after lessons
- Create lesson materials and resources as directed by the teacher
- Provide in-class support during cooking activities under teacher supervision
- Deliver food orders and maintain accurate stock
- Be ready to assist elsewhere in the school when required
What We’re Looking For
- Confident with IT and online systems
- Strong organisation and admin skills
- Flexible, proactive, and a team player
- Experience working with students with special needs is a plus
- Must have an enhanced DBS for both children and adults
- Able to work 8.45am to 4.15pm Monday to Friday
