Location: Smethwick Start Date: 1st September 2025 Position: Full-time (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm) Pay: Stating from £89 per day Contract: Long-term As a Teaching Assistant you will be working closely with pupils who have a range of special educational needs, offering support on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to help them achieve their personal and academic goals. This is a full time role in a welcoming primary to start in September. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN • Support pupils with academic, emotional, and social development • Follow and contribute to Individual Education Plans (IEPs) • Work collaboratively with class teachers, SENCOs, and other staff • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment Requirements: • School or nursery experience is essential • Previous experience supporting children with SEN is essential • Positive, patient, and adaptable approach to working with young people • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable long-term experience and make a genuine difference in students’ lives within a supportive school environment.
