Job Description:

Exam Invigilators required for autumn exam season Exam invigilators are required within schools to facilitate the proper and smooth running of young peoples exams. They are required to supervise students during their exams and ensure exam regulations are met. All Exam Invigilators must be JQC (Joint Council for Qualifications) certified, in order to gain this certification you will need to complete a short, online course through Axcis Education which is in line with JQC standards and regulations. We will provide you wit the means to do this course for free upon registration with Axcis. Exam Invigilators are required to:- Monitor that there is no speaking by students during the exam- Ensure there is no cheating- Provide students with the necessary equipment to complete the exam – eg paper, stationery.- Distribute and collect exam papers- Support any students that may be unwell during the exam.- Start and finish the exams - Support any stressed or panicked students- Maintain alertness throughout exam which could last 3 hours- Exude calm demeanour Requirements:•Enhanced DBS on the Update Service required or we’re happy to carry out a new one ahead of you starting the position – Essential • Minimum of 2 good references – Essential• JQC (Joint Council for Qualifications) certified, we will provide this training – Essential
