Are you passionate about supporting young people with SEND and helping them develop the skills they need for adulthood? We are currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants to join a specialist SEND provision in Erith, supporting students aged 16+ through both one to one and small group support. This is a rewarding opportunity for a positive and proactive individual who wants to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people with additional needs.
The Role
You will support students with a range of complex needs, helping them access education, build confidence, develop independence, and achieve their personal goals:
- Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH)
- Challenging behaviour
- Medical needs
- Down’s Syndrome
- Cerebral Palsy
- Physical disabilities and wheelchair users
A Varied & Practical Learning Environment
The provision focuses on preparing students for adulthood through a personalised and engaging curriculum, including:
- Developing independent living skills and daily routines
- Creative activities such as drama, arts, and crafts
- Performances and school productions
- Forest School and outdoor learning
- Community activities and work placements

This is a temporary position, unless stated otherwise.
