We are currently recruiting for a KS1 Teacher position to join a welcoming Primary Academy and Nursery catering for children aged 2–11 years, starting September 2026. This is a full‑time KS1 teaching role (Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm), ideal for both an experienced Primary Teacher and an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to develop their career in a supportive and inclusive mainstream school.
Responsibilities
- Full classroom responsibility within Key Stage 1
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum
- Support pupil progress, attainment and development
- Create a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with teachers, teaching assistants and SLT
Requirements
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent – essential
- Open to both experienced teachers and ECTs
- For experienced teachers: previous experience in a UK mainstream primary school
- For ECTs: completed placements within a UK primary school setting
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Passion for teaching within Key Stage 1
