Overview
English Tutor – 1:1 and small group teaching for students with ASD, ADHD and complex needs.
Location: Newton Abbot. Salary: £24,500-£30,500. Hours: 8.30-4.30. Permanent (temp to perm). Start: September 2026.
Responsibilities
- Deliver bespoke curriculum covering GCSE and A-level English objectives.
- Teach on a 1:1 and small group basis.
- Support students with SEND, helping regulate and access learning.
About You
- Experience teaching or tutoring English lessons, including GCSE and A-level.
- Confidence in forming relationships with students who have SEND needs.
- Passion for delivering lessons on a 1:1 or small group basis.
- Team player, friendly and approachable.
- QTS not required, but desirable qualifications can be an advantage.

Mainly post‑16 students working toward GCSE and A-level qualifications.
