ECT Teacher – Plymouth – September 2025 Start Axcis Education is seeking enthusiastic and committed Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to begin their teaching careers in Special Educational Needs (SEN) settings across Plymouth from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for newly qualified teachers to complete their induction within well-supported specialist provisions. Settings include schools catering for pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, communication difficulties, and a range of other complex needs. Role Overview: • Position: SEN Teacher (ECT) • Start Date: September 2025 • Location: Plymouth and surrounding areas • Hours: Full-time (8:30am – 4:00pm) • Daily Rate: £120 - £135 Key Responsibilities: • Delivering differentiated lessons to meet individual learning needs • Supporting academic, social, and emotional development • Working collaboratively with SENCOs, teaching assistants, and support staff • Monitoring and assessing pupil progress in line with EHCPs Candidate Requirements: • QTS (achieved or pending for September 2025) • A strong interest in SEN and inclusive education • Excellent communication and classroom management skills • A reflective and professional approach to teaching This is a valuable opportunity to begin your teaching career in a supportive and specialist environment, with structured induction support and professional development.
