About the Setting
This mainstream primary school offers a nurturing and stimulating environment for early years pupils. Staff work closely with teachers and specialist support teams to embed speech, language and communication strategies into daily classroom practice.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting teachers in speech, language and communication interventions
- Delivering structured or play-based activities to improve communication and social skills
- Observing, recording, and reporting on children’s progress
- Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement and confidence
- Helping create a safe, inclusive and communication-rich classroom environment
- Supporting early identification of speech, language and communication difficulties
Who We’re Looking For
- Experience working with young children in nursery or school settings
- Interest or experience in speech and language support or SEND
- Patient, caring and proactive, with excellent communication skills
- Confident working in one-to-one or small group interventions
- A collaborative team player
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
