Location: Cranbrook

Hours: Full‑time (Monday – Friday)

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:15 PM
  • Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Setting: Specialist school for students aged 11–18 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Student Needs: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), SEMH, challenging behaviour

Responsibilities

  • Support students with ASD in classroom and social settings
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging, structured lessons tailored to individual needs
  • Encourage independence, communication, and social development
  • Support students with challenging behaviour using positive behaviour strategies
  • Collaborate with teachers and therapists to implement EHCPs and individual learning plans

Qualifications

  • Experience working with students with ASD is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of SEMH needs and strategies for managing challenging behaviour
