Axcis is working with an amazing special school in the Solihull area that specialises in supporting children and young people with Complex Autism. The school caters to individuals aged 4 to 19 years and tailors its provision to each individual’s needs.

Job Details

  • Cover teacher in an ASD‑specific SEND school
  • Working independently and as part of a team
  • Part‑time hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Temporary position unless stated otherwise.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relatable Level 4 or 5 qualification – Essential
  • Experience of working with pupils with Complex Autism – Essential
  • Experience of working with individuals who display challenging behaviour – Essential
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service required, or we will carry out a new DBS ahead of your start – Essential
  • Minimum of 2 good references – Essential
