Are you ready to take the next step in your career? Do you have experience supporting pupils with SEND in a school setting? Axcis is an education recruitment agency currently seeking SEND Teaching Assistants to support children and young people with special educational needs across the Wirral area. We are looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants with experience working in schools and supporting a range of SEND needs. In this role, you will provide 1:1 and small group support within the classroom, helping pupils to access the curriculum and reach their full potential.

What you will need:

  • An enhanced DBS certificate – if not, we can assist with applying for one.
  • A minimum of 6 months working with SEND in an education setting (3 months must be in the UK for overseas candidates).
  • A genuine interest in supporting children with special educational needs.
  • Able to reliably commute within Wirral and the surrounding areas.

This is a temporary position, unless stated otherwise.

You must be suitably qualified for the position advertised and be prepared to attend a face-to-face interview with Axcis to demonstrate your suitability for this role. Salary / Pay Rate will be dependent on your skills and experience.
