Axcis Education is currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Chorley and the surrounding areas, supporting pupils with a range of SEND, complex needs and behaviours that challenge. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience working with children and young people with additional needs who is looking for a rewarding role where they can make a genuine difference.
The Role Includes:
- Full-time and part-time opportunities available
- Working hours between 8:30am and 4:00pm
- Supporting secondary-aged pupils with a range of SEND, complex needs and behaviours that challenge
- Providing support both in class and on a 1:1 basis
- Working closely with teachers and the wider SEND team to promote positive outcomes for students
- Helping create a safe, supportive and positive learning environment
To Be Considered, You Will Need:
- A minimum of 6 months' experience working with SEND
- Overseas candidates must have at least 3 months' UK experience working with SEND
- Previous experience supporting pupils in a secondary school setting is highly desirable
- Candidates with secondary classroom experience and personal SEND experience will also be considered
- A genuine passion for working with children and young people with SEND and complex needs
- A proactive, resilient and positive approach to supporting pupils with additional needs
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one — Axcis can support you through the application process
- The ability to reliably commute to Chorley and the surrounding areas

Salary / Pay Rate will be dependent on your skills and experience.
