Bourton‑on‑the‑Water, GL54 – Care Assistant (Education). Temporary to Permanent opportunity. Start September. Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 8:30am‑3:30pm. Pay: £92.63 per day.

Are you an experienced Care Assistant looking for a rewarding role outside of traditional care settings? If you have experience supporting individuals with PEG feeding and are passionate about making a difference, this is an excellent opportunity to use your skills in a welcoming primary school environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Reception‑aged pupil throughout the school day.
  • Safely administer PEG feeds in accordance with training and the child's care plan.
  • Support the child's personal care, wellbeing and daily routines.
  • Encourage independence, confidence and participation in classroom activities.
  • Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, therapists and parents to ensure the child receives consistent, high‑quality support.
Essential Requirements
  • Previous experience administering PEG feeds.
  • Experience working as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant or in a similar care role.
  • Confidence supporting individuals with medical or additional needs.
  • A caring, patient and dependable approach.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday during term time.

You must be suitably qualified for the position advertised and be prepared to attend a face‑to‑face interview with Axcis to demonstrate your suitability for this role.

Desirable Experience
  • Experience supporting children or young people.
  • Experience working with individuals with additional needs or disabilities.
  • Previous experience within a school, nursery or educational setting (not essential).
