Axcis Education is recruiting for a caring and reliable Care Support Worker to join an adult education centre in the N8 area from September on a full‑time basis. This role involves supporting young adults and adult learners with additional needs, helping them access education, life skills, and daily activities within a supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support learners with SEND and complex needs
  • Assist with personal care where required
  • Promote independence, confidence and wellbeing
  • Support learners during educational and practical activities
  • Work closely with teaching and care staff to ensure student safety and engagement

Qualifications

  • Experience working within care, SEND or support work settings
  • Comfortable supporting personal care needs
  • Patient, compassionate and reliable approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience supporting adults with additional needs desirable
