Care Worker – Secondary School – Hillingdon
Location: Hillingdon, London
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 4.00 pm

A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Hillingdon is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join their team this September. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work closely with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) and challenging behaviours.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualised care and support to students with SEND
- Assist with personal care needs in a respectful and dignified manner
- Support students in managing challenging behaviours using a calm and constructive approach
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families to implement care plans
- Encourage independence, confidence, and life skills in daily activities
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service
- Right to work in the United Kingdom
- Previous experience as a care assistant or in a similar role, ideally in an SEND or educational setting
- A caring, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting students
