Role Overview
We are recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming all-age specialist SEN school in Bromsgrove, supporting pupils across a range of age groups and needs. This long-term role offers the chance to build strong, meaningful relationships with learners while supporting their academic, social, and emotional development.
Responsibilities
- Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support to pupils of different ages
- Support learning, communication, and emotional regulation throughout the school day
- Work closely with teaching staff to deliver personalised learning programmes
- Encourage independence, engagement, and positive behaviour
- Help maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
Qualifications and Experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Confident supporting pupils across a range of ages and abilities
- Experience in SEN or education is beneficial but not essential
- A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
