Location: Bromley, BR2 – Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 3:30pm – Start: September 2026

About the Role

You will be supporting students with a range of complex needs, including PMLD, medical needs, Down’s syndrome, cerebral palsy, and wheelchair users. The setting focuses on developing life skills, independence, and preparing students for adulthood. Students will experience a varied and engaging curriculum including independent living skills, creative subjects such as drama, arts and crafts, end‑of‑year performances and plays, forest school sessions, and work placements within the community.

Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Provide 1:1 and group support for students across a variety of complex needs.
  • Promote independence in daily tasks rather than completing them yourself.
  • Use positive reinforcement techniques effectively.
  • Help students develop skills for independent living and future employment.
  • Maintain a reliable, organized, and proactive approach to support.
  • Attend training and maintain compliance with safeguarding and DBS requirements.

Qualifications and Personal Attributes

  • Positive, proactive, and reliable.
  • Able to think on your feet and stay organized.
  • Passionate about supporting young people with SEND.
  • Confident in using positive reinforcement.

  • Appropriate background or experience in working with students with SEND is desirable.
