Axcis Education are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in Bristol for a Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 pupil with SEMH and behavioural needs. The role starts as soon as possible and will initially be morning-only hours, before progressing to a full-time position after February half term.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 12:30pm (initially)
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (from after February half term)
Responsibilities
- Supporting a Year 2 pupil with SEMH and behavioural difficulties
- Based in a mini resource base within the school
- Working alongside two other experienced teaching assistants
- Supporting three existing SEND pupils in a structured, nurturing environment
- Helping pupils regulate emotions, engage with learning, and develop positive behaviour strategies
