About the Role
Location: Bedminster, Bristol
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (term-time only)
Pay: Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience)
Responsibilities
- Supporting children in Nursery or Reception within a mainstream primary setting
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils who may need extra help settling into school
- Supporting children with early SEND needs, including speech and language difficulties, Autism, and developmental delays
- Encouraging social, emotional, and communication development through structured play and routine
- Working closely with the class teacher and EYFS team to support learning and behaviour
Ideal Candidate
- Has experience working in Early Years, Nursery, or Reception settings
- Understands the EYFS framework and child-led learning
- Is caring, patient, and enthusiastic
- Confident supporting children with additional needs
- Holds a relevant Early Years or Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
