Axcis Education is recruiting Early Years Supply Practitioners to support a range of nurseries, pre‑schools and early years settings in Yate and surrounding areas.

Role Overview

As an Early Years Supply Practitioner, you will support children from birth to five years old, creating a safe, engaging and nurturing environment where they can learn through play and develop key early skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support children's learning through play‑based activities.
  • Create a warm, safe and stimulating environment.
  • Encourage children's social, emotional and language development.
  • Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes, personal care and outdoor play where appropriate.
  • Build positive relationships with children, colleagues and families.
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety and EYFS requirements.

Qualifications

  • Hold a relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2, Level 3 or above desirable).
  • Have experience working within nurseries, pre‑schools or other Early Years settings.
  • Be caring, enthusiastic and positive.
  • Adapt quickly to different environments.
  • Work well as part of a team.
  • Be passionate about giving children the very best start in life.
  • Unqualified practitioners with strong Early Years experience are also encouraged to apply.
