Primary Teaching Assistant – Mainstream Primary School, Brent
Pay: £90–£100 per day (depending on experience). Hours: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, term‑time only.
We are recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive mainstream primary school environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children within a primary education setting. The role involves working with both 1:1 support and general classroom assistance across a mainstream primary school. You will work closely with class teachers to support pupils’ learning, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support to pupils who need additional help.
- Support whole‑class learning in a mainstream primary classroom.
- Assist with small group activities and targeted interventions.
- Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development within a primary setting.
- Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and well‑organised classroom environment.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience working with children, ideally in a primary or mainstream school setting.
- A caring, patient, and adaptable approach suitable for a Teaching Assistant role.
