We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our team in Dorking, Surrey. The Cover Supervisor will play a vital role in supporting the education of our students by ensuring continuity of learning during the absence of teaching staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage classroom activities in the absence of the assigned teacher.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and maintain a productive learning environment.
  • Support students in their learning and promote positive behaviour in line with the school’s policies.
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to teaching and student support as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Experience working in an educational setting is preferred but not essential.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
