Axcis are looking for a compassionate, caring and clear‑headed individual to support a child with Profound and Moderate Learning Difficulties (PMLD) in a special school in Birmingham. The position is full‑time for the remainder of the current academic year and is offered through a temporary agency.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal and intimate care to a specific child on a 1:1 or small group basis across a range of subjects.
- Support the child with medical needs and deliver everyday learning opportunities.
Qualifications
- Unqualified teaching assistant or experience in a teaching role.
- Experience working with individuals with PMLD and/or medical needs is highly desirable.
Additional Information
