Axcis are looking for a compassionate, caring and clear‑headed individual to support a child with Profound and Moderate Learning Difficulties (PMLD) in a special school in Birmingham. The position is full‑time for the remainder of the current academic year and is offered through a temporary agency.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal and intimate care to a specific child on a 1:1 or small group basis across a range of subjects.
- Support the child with medical needs and deliver everyday learning opportunities.
Qualifications
- Unqualified teaching assistant or experience in a teaching role.
- Experience working with individuals with PMLD and/or medical needs is highly desirable.
Additional Information
Salary will be dependent on skills and experience. Axcis is an equal opportunities employer and does not discriminate based on age, gender, disability, race or any other criteria.
