Responsibilities
- Provide targeted KS3 & KS4 support, focusing on GCSE intervention in core subjects.
- Deliver small-group and 1:1 academic interventions to address gaps in knowledge.
- Assist teachers in planning and adapting resources for exam-focused learning.
- Support students with revision, exam techniques and subject-specific challenges.
- Monitor progress and contribute to intervention tracking and assessments.
- Build positive relationships to motivate learners and promote strong study habits.
- Help maintain a focused, productive and supportive classroom environment.
Requirements
- Experience supporting secondary-aged students, ideally within KS3 & KS4.
- Strong subject knowledge across English, Maths and/or Science.
- Ability to deliver structured academic support and intervention sessions.
- Confident communication and rapport-building skills.
- A patient, supportive and professional approach with high expectations.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
