We are looking for fun, energetic and enthusiastic candidates to work with students aged 11-16 in our local PRUs or Alternative Provisions. This is a great opportunity for candidates to develop their skills and to be supported by settings that believe in securing professional development for staff. Although qualifications and experience are important, we are focused on candidates with a social, energetic and professional personality. Responsibilities:
- Be a role model, mentor and daily support to the child/ren you will be working with.
- Support students with SEND to overcome social and academic barriers.
- Support the class teacher in delivery of the curriculum.
- Make reasonable adjustments to ensure students thrive in the setting.
- Provide 1:1 or group support to identified students.
- Be passionate about supporting students with SEMH needs.
- Provide support advice and guidance.
- Promote independence in line with the settings policy.
