We have a support staff vacancy for a Level 2 qualified teaching assistant. The role is based within the resource hub of a mainstream primary school in the Erdington area. The perfect candidate will hold a Level 2 qualification in a relatable field and have prior experience with pupils with SEND. You will work on a 1:1 or small group (2-3) basis with specific children.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting pupils with varying SEND challenges
  • Working on a one-to-one and small group basis
  • Full-time hours (8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday)
  • Ongoing basis, starting ASAP, and through to July 2026

Requirements

  • Minimum Level 2 qualification in a relatable subject/sector – Essential
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND needs – Essential
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain a new one before starting – Essential
  • Minimum of 2 good references – Essential
