We are currently seeking individuals from the care sector to transition into an educational setting as a Teaching Assistant in a primary and secondary school within the B21 area. In this role, you will have the rewarding opportunity to work closely with students who have ASD, PMLD and complex needs.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with students to provide one‑on‑one support tailored to their specific needs and abilities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting personal growth and independence.
- Assist students in acquiring and developing essential life skills such as communication, problem‑solving, and self‑care.
- Collaborate with staff to create individualized learning plans and monitor student progress.
- Uphold a safe and secure environment, ensuring the welfare and well‑being of the students at all times.
Qualifications
- Holding a Child and Adult DBS on the Updated Service.
- Experience in care settings is highly desirable, as you will be required to provide personal care.
- An understanding of autism and other learning difficulties is beneficial.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and create a supportive learning atmosphere.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for making a positive impact on the lives of young individuals.

Contract Details
