Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of pupils with ASD
- Create a structured, calm, and positive learning environment
- Use a range of strategies to support communication, behaviour, and emotional regulation
- Work closely with teaching assistants, SEN staff, and external professionals
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with children with ASD (school or specialist setting preferred)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A patient, flexible, and proactive approach
