Overview
Position: Full-Time SEND Teacher
Location: Mitcham
Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of SEND students.
- Support students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and manage challenging behaviours effectively.
- Work collaboratively with support staff to implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as needed.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with experience in SEND education.
- Experience working with students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and challenging behaviour.
- Strong behaviour management skills and a commitment to inclusive education.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
