Location: SW19, Wimbledon

Hours: 8:15am – 3:15pm | Term Time Only

The Role

  • Providing targeted academic support across KS3 and KS4, with a strong focus on GCSE subjects.
  • Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs, including SEMH, ASD and learning difficulties.
  • Delivering 1:1 and small group academic interventions.
  • Supporting pupils to remain engaged, organised and on task in lessons.
  • Working closely with subject teachers to reinforce learning and progress.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Has previous experience supporting students with SEND in a secondary school setting.
  • Holds a strong academic background (degree or equivalent desirable).
  • Is confident supporting learning in core subjects, particularly English and Maths.
  • Is calm, consistent and able to build positive working relationships with teenage boys.
  • Is reliable, proactive and committed to pupil progress.

This is a temporary position, unless stated otherwise. Axcis Education is an employment agency offering temporary supply work for daily, short-term and long-term assignments in addition to permanent positions. You must be suitably qualified for the position advertised and be prepared to attend a face to face interview with Axcis to demonstrate your suitability for this role. Salary / Pay Rate will be dependent on your skills and experience.
