We are seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in Year 4 with ADHD and ASD at a supportive mainstream primary school in Surrey, starting September 2026. This is a full‑time role (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm).
Responsibilities
- Providing 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs.
- Supporting behaviour regulation, focus and social development.
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO.
- Implementing tailored support strategies and routines.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a UK primary school is essential.
- Experience supporting SEND, particularly ADHD and/or ASD.
- Patient, calm and consistent approach to behaviour support.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
Salary & Benefits
£92.63 per day (PAYE starting rate).
