About The Role

  • Job Title: Teacher of Music (Maternity Cover)
  • Salary: MPS - UPS Pension Employer Pension Contributions of 28.68%
  • Hours: 32.5 hours per week / 39 weeks per year

Wilmington Grammar School for Boys is an 11-18 year old selective Boys’ Grammar School, with a co-educational sixth form, run jointly with Wilmington Grammar School for Girls.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented music teacher to cover maternity leave within our Performing Arts Department.

As a Music Teacher you will be responsible for delivering a broad curriculum which seeks to develop a love for music and a culture of public performance.

Our Ideal Candidate Will

  • Display a passion for music and an understanding of how to enthuse others
  • Some experience in teaching classroom music at different key stages
  • A willingness and determination to promote a love of Music beyond the classroom
