Overview
Claims Adjuster - Property continually identifying areas to improve customer experience. Supporting underwriting teams and key stakeholders in connection with claim trends, marketing and business development. Interaction with and support of management and other internal stakeholders to support underwriting growth and profitability. You will report to the UK Property and Construction Claims Manager.
Requirements / What you’ll bring
- Previous experience of policy wording interpretation and/or claims handling experience, ideally including commercial property and CAR claims.
- A working knowledge of International Program structure, including Local, Master and Reverse Flow policies.
- Experience handling London market claims (including knowledge of ECF) is highly beneficial.
- Understanding of how the Claims function operates and the lifecycle of the claim.
- Ownership and accountability for the management of assigned claims and the strategy to obtain the best result for both AXA XL and the insured.
- Delivering prompt, fair, innovative and accurate claims service that enhances broker and client relationships.
- Ability to create a common understanding for both parties, considering others’ perspectives to persuade or negotiate.
- Ability to establish relationships and collaborate across the business to achieve goals.
- Use of relevant data to gain buy-in and support in setting and implementing case strategy.
- Confident and effective written and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to find innovative and pragmatic solutions.
- Educated to A Level standard or equivalent.
