We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead the Business Analysis, Project Management and IT Business Partnering teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the delivery of IT change projects and programmes across Reinsurance.
What you’ll be doing
- Change Delivery
- Leading the vision for best practice and innovative delivery solutions that enable the business strategic road-maps.
- Leading the implementation of resource, change management & change budgets for both small change & projects.
- Ensuring best practice approaches are applied to change, enabling accurately recorded, prioritised, budgeted and delivered change.
- Leading the Reinsurance organisation annual project evaluation and prioritisation to ensure value from investment.
- Working closely with the Head of Vendor Management Office to ensure 3rd party delivery partners are set up for success.
- Managing the Demand, Prioritisation and Portfolio Delivery along with any External Impacting initiatives (i.e. Infrastructure or Shared Apps) — ensuring that appropriate road-maps are maintained and drive the business case definition/mandates for securing project funding need for technology services or application development.
- Managing Re Portfolio (and associated Re/O&T Governance) — Responsible for establishing, and maintaining, appropriate governance on behalf of the Reinsurance Leadership Team and IT Steering Group as well as ensuring adherence to all relevant IT associated governance and controls for which the Reinsurance segment is held accountable.
- Connection point to O&T TCD — Responsible as the Reinsurance partner into Transformation & Change Delivery acting on behalf of the Reinsurance Leadership and IT Steering Group/Operations ensuring that Reinsurance initiatives are well represented as well understanding and acting upon impacting initiatives.
- Leading Reinsurance IT Steering Group — Is Chairperson of the "IT Steering Group" (comprising Senior Business Leaders, Platform and Chief Underwriting Officers and has responsibility for setting the priorities for the distribution of budget). Provides insight into IT demand and project progress/budget spend as well as communicating information of "external" activity that impacts the Reinsurance landscape.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Build relationships with internal teams and external partners to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Build close relationships across AXA XL IDA, Transformation & GT, AXA XL Reinsurance and key stakeholders.
- Ensure clear, transparent communication across all levels of the organisation.
- Building engagement between Business & IT functions to ensure close understanding of the organisation, strategic priorities & working understanding of activities across the function.
