The predicted salary is between 800 - 1000 ÂŁ per month.

This is a level 3 Financial Services Administrator Apprenticeship programme. The closing date for applications is the 22nd February 2026. We will be running an assessment centre on 25th March 2026 and the start date for this apprenticeship will be 21st September 2026. Please ensure you are available for these dates before application.

Brand new position as an Underwriting Support Assistant within AXA XL’s Energy Support team. This role is a hybrid role combining both time in our newly refurbished Ipswich office as well as remotely under our Smart Working initiative. The primary purpose of the Underwriting Support Assistant role is to perform tasks supporting the existing Underwriting book of business, whilst developing the necessary skillset to liaise with key internal stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing

  • Document Management: Scanning, uploading, and organizing documents related to applications, quotes, and underwriting decisions.
  • Inputting Policy Data: Entering information from insurance documentations into the company’s underwriting system.
  • Updating Client Information: Maintaining and updating existing policies, including coverage changes, endorsements etc.
  • Policy Checks: Preparing reports for the Underwriters, including performing sanctions checks.
  • Data Verification: Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of data entered, ensuring it matches supporting documents or source information.

You will report to Team Leader.
